FINANCIAL AID PROCEDURE
Because of the commitment to Conservative Biblical training through Conservative Theological University, our tuition and fees are much lower than the rates of most schools; however, it is recognized that some people still may find it difficult to pay for their education.
CTU does not participate in any federal loans or grants programs. However, it operates its own scholarship program. The student submits a formal request as outlined on the application. All financial information remains strictly confidential.
Decisions are made by the CTU financial aid committee based on comparative need and available funds. Scholarships take the form of tuition reduction; fees and books are at regular rates. All decisions of the committee are final.
Students “must” apply for Financial Aid annually. However, should the student’s financial circumstances change at any time, such changes must be submitted to the CTU Financial Aid Committee in writing.
Requesting a CTU Scholarship
The student must submit a letter requesting financial assistance, expressing specifically the reason, and affirming the accuracy of all information provided. In addition, a separate form provided by CTU, the student will itemize all monthly income and all monthly expenses. Full disclosure is important, and if the committee needs additional information, it reserves the right to request such in writing, and the decision for a scholarship may be delayed.
NOTE:
CTU is committed to providing a quality Bible College and Seminary education for these changing times at affordable rates. The overhead at CTU is low, but nonetheless, it is costly to provide quality education in today’s surging economy.
If you know of someone who might be able to assist us financially by contributing to our scholarship funds, please let us know.
If you are a pastor, please consider requesting your church to put CTU in its budget. Churches can allocate 1%, 2%, 3% or more of their budget for educational ministry support. Please keep CTU in your prayers.
